Hey...ok...so the reason for the whole deleting of the posts and recent lack of new postage is because *someone* found this blog of mine and so I had to delete anything particular to lesbian/gay/bisexual/transexual/pansexual/heterosexual/etc issues in this blog. Basically, deleting the whole thing. However, I'm now convinced that this *person* will not be checking in anytime soon. Let me a hear a big SIGH of relief: ------sigh-------Alright so what's on topic for today?
First off, we have the ban on gay marriage in California, USE being overturned.
That's right people of the USA, people of the over-pollutioned yet all too amazingly happening state of CALIFORNIA, the Supreme Court overturned its ban on same-sex marriage Thursday, May 12th, 2008! Let me hear another sigh...sigh of...WOOT WOOT ----woot woot-----. This is the beginning of something AMAZING and even though this place is far, FAR away, it's the frikin USA; home to the uber-conservatives. Such a prominenantly world-wide renowned state as California making this well overdue bold move -I think- is the start of a revolution. California -in it's 4-3 decision- is now the second state in the USA, after Massachusettes, to allow same-sex marriage.
PS. My other lova from anotha motha -Portia De Rossi- is getting married, apparently, summer of 2009 to the fantastically hilarious Ellen Degeneres.
Topic #2:
AHHH new X-Files movie. WTF. Ok, call me a sci-fi freak but I used to be in love with the X-Files (however, not as much as I was am with Buffy). This movie is so top-secret that director Chris C. Carter wouldn't even let the stars of the show/movie (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) see the the script until shooting began. Hopefully the movie offers more than its trailers (I guess it's all the suspense and mystery tied in that makes this trailer so damn...disappointing -in the sense that you have to know more-).
